Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Ohio’s mission is to raise awareness among women, healthcare providers, and the greater community regarding early warning signs that may be indicative of ovarian cancer, resulting in earlier detection and improved outcomes; to provide resources for support, networking, and education for women with ovarian cancer, their families, and their caregivers to ensure no woman with this disease feels she is alone; to advocate for those touched by ovarian cancer, ensuring their stories have a voice and are heard in the battle to beat this disease; to raise funds locally to further our mission and support national ovarian cancer organizations.

OCAGC’s mission is to create awareness among women in the Greater Cincinnati area to the early and subtle warning signs of ovarian cancer. We provide networking and support for anyone diagnosed with ovarian cancer, survivors and their families. Our group consists of survivors and volunteers who are committed to increasing awareness of ovarian cancer, funding support groups in our area, and supporting the families facing this disease. We have also partnered with federal and local advocates for increased federal funding for continued research regarding ovarian cancer.

R.O.A.R!’s mission is to educate women to recognize the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer and acquire the knowledge to seek evaluation and treatment by qualified professionals. R.O.A.R! has qualified speakers that will address any civic or faith-based group with a 45 minute slide presentation, testimonials and awareness materials. It is also committed to supporting a cooperative effort among the York, PA primary care physicians, OB/GYN’s and gynecologic oncologists.

The goals of the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation are to provide public awareness and education about ovarian cancer to both women and physicians, to advocate for early diagnostic testing and more effective treatments and to raise money to help advance research towards a cure. The organization has a speaker’s forum, participates in health fairs, holds an annual gala and walk/run, works with local legislative representatives and supports ovarian cancer researchers throughout the country.

The mission of the Start Reigning: Ovarian Cancer Alliance is to increase awareness and educate women and their families, as well as the healthcare community about risks, symptoms, and treatment of ovarian cancer leading to earlier detection.

The Start Reigning: Ovarian Cancer Alliance based on Hilton Head Island, SC serves the state of South Carolina while providing national public outreach programs, education and awareness, and fundraising events.

Founded in 2011, Start Reigning, the organization is the social change and mission subsidiary of the International Coalition of Queens (ICQueens), also based on Hilton Head Island, SC. Its primary focus is to provide the community and the members of ICQueens, a women’s membership organization established to unite former and reigning scholarship pageant queens, with the resources and support to fulfill their promises & their purposes.

The Ovarian & Breast Cancer Alliance is dedicated to promoting lifesaving early detection of ovarian and breast cancer through education and awareness. Our educational presentations and programs focus on educating women and healthcare professionals about the symptoms and risk factors of ovarian cancer.

We facilitate the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance’s Survivors Teaching Students: Saving Women’s Lives® program. In this program ovarian cancer survivors share their unique stories and help healthcare students become more knowledgeable and sensitive to the symptoms and risk factors of ovarian cancer.

We also advocate for public policy to further funding for ovarian cancer research. The Ovarian & Breast Cancer Alliance is a community based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Ovarian Cancer TOGETHER! is a state based networking and support organization for those touched by ovarian cancer. Want to find other survivors in your neighborhood? WOCA’s mission is to create awareness among all Wisconsin women with ovarian cancer of early and subtle warning signs. In addition, it provides networking and support for all ovarian cancer survivors and their families. One of its major goals is educating and working with medical professionals through education sessions. WOCA also works with national and local ovarian cancer advocates to get increased federal funding for continued research.
