Celebration of Life Campaign

The lives of ovarian cancer survivors are full of love, laughter, song, tears, smiles, hopes, dreams, wishes, thoughts, fears, prayer, more laughter and more tears. We are asking you to help us celebrate their lives.

The Ovarian Cancer National Alliance introduces its Celebration of Life Campaign, an opportunity to rejoice in the number of months or years you or a loved one has survived the battle with ovarian cancer. While we work hard every day in the memory of those we have lost to this dreadful disease, the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance wants also to recognize the unwavering determination of all the women who are surviving.

By celebrating women’s “cancerversaries” you will be giving them a special gift – recognition of their spirit and their journey. And you will be helping OCNA help other women who, by our joint efforts, also will celebrate their “cancerversaries.”

Join us in a tribute to courageous women by honoring the spirit and determination of ovarian cancer survivors by donating online here.

Inspiring Words for Ovarian Cancer Survivors...

"I know that the most important part of living with Ovarian Cancer is to live in the present not in the past. Live every single day to it's fullest. That was the hardest part of living with an OC dx. Live for the right now and it will all become very clear exactly "what" you are living for.”
(GayLynn, MO)

“I survive this cancer "one day at a time." I don't think about dying, I think about living and have for 37.5 yrs. I don't let it run my life, I run it.”
(Gerry, FL)

"The point is, instead of accepting that this dreadful disease has horrible survival statistics, we need to fight it with everything we can. Instead of of worrying about dying, we need to focus on living! We can beat this! My wish for all of you is to reach inside yourself, fight with all you have, live life, love life, laugh often, and at the very least give this cancer a major battle. Whatever the outcome, we will all be better for it!”

What Cancer Cannot Do--
Cancer is so limited;
It cannot cripple Love;
It cannot shatter Hope;
It cannot corrode Faith;
It cannot destroy Peace;
It cannot kill Friendship;
It cannot suppress Memories;
It cannot silence Courage;
It cannot invade the Soul;
It cannot steal Eternal Life;
It cannot conquer the Spirit!
