Run-for-Her-PicThroughout my mom’s 5 1/2 year battle with ovarian cancer, she never wavered in her belief that she was blessed, lucky even. She would smile and say with conviction, “Life is good.” For her, life was good during chemo treatments, after surgery and during numerous hospital stays. She taught me by example that a good life is measured by the people who share it with us. In her absence, its been the love and support of my friends and family that have allowed me to believe with her same conviction that “Life is good.”
