A note from our CEO, Calaneet Balas
As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, I want to take a moment to say “thank you.”
Thank you for supporting our work this year. We are so grateful for everyone who shared information about ovarian cancer, gave presentations on this disease, attended our events and gave of your time and talents.
Thank you to those who donated to the Alliance in 2013. From individuals who have been affected by this disease, to major corporations, your contributions allow us to be a voice for our community.
Last–but never least!–thank you to the amazing survivors who inspire us to come to work every day, including those who sadly lost their lives to ovarian cancer this year. Your stories motivate us to continue our fight for better treatments, an effective early detection test and, ultimately, a cure.
On behalf of the board and staff of the Alliance, I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with your loved ones.
