F.A.M.I.L.Y – Stands for Father And Mother, I Love You.

On April 24, 2012 I lost the M in the word family: my mother. She was 58 years old and has been my hero for the past 33 years of my life. My mom was an inspiration not only to myself, but also my father, two brothers and four grandchildren. She leaves a legacy of a woman who worked every day of her life and fought to the very last breath. I cannot put into words how much I miss her or how thankful I am to be her son. She was diagnosed 5 years ago, the same time my wife and I, and a brother and sister-in-law, announced that we were each pregnant with her first grandchildren. I believe this gave her the strength she needed to continue to fight over the next 5 years and right till the very end. My family and I were very fortunate that my mother got to instill her values in the two oldest grandchildren, along with spoiling them and the additional two that came later.
I want to say thank you, Mom, for everything you have given to Dad, Dave, Scott, Lynette, Koby, Blake, Mindy, Kennedy, Addison and I. Without your support, love and guidance we would not be the individuals we are today. There will always be an empty hole in my heart every time I pull into the farm knowing that you will no longer be there. I miss you and love.

Your Loving Son,
