Sprint for Life: Another Successful Event from our Partner Members!

On May 1st, the MD Anderson Center held their successful 13th Annual Sprint for Life 5K Walk/Run to raise awareness of ovarian cancer.

The MD Anderson Center, located at the University of Texas, is dedicated to eliminating cancer in Texas, the nation, and the world through their outstanding patient and educational programs.  The Sprint for Life event, held every May, is coordinated by the Department of Gynecologic Oncology to celebrate ovarian cancer survivors with their families, friends, local businesses, corporations and MD Anderson employees. To date, the event has raised over $2.3 million dollars for the Blanton-Davis Ovarian Cancer Research Program at MD Anderson.

Congratulations to MD Anderson for this successful event! We can’t wait to hear about next year’s race.
