“I love you, too” were the last words my beautiful mother said to me before she she entered heaven on December 24, 2006.  As each second, minute, hour, day, month, and year passes, she continues to be a part of my world and missed beyond words.  What she gave to her family will never be forgotten.  She will forever be in our hearts and souls.  The wonderful memories I have of her will be with me always.

She fought a brave battle for two and a half years; never complaining, always fighting to live.  As I look back on my childhood I know that I could never ask for a better one.  My mother would always take me to the mall to get whatever new trend was out there.  I was one of the first girls in seventh grade to have the black Gloria Vanderbilt jeans.  She would make us awesome adorable Halloween costumes. My mother was such a wonderful Grandma also.  My daughter has dear memories of her.  Best of all, I was always able to laugh and cry with my Mom.  She loved her family for better or worse; no matter what.  She will forever be the most beautiful and most strong woman I know.  I am so proud that she is MY MOM.

Happy Mother’s Day Mom, I know you are no longer in pain but in your final beautiful home.
